Julianna Lamb used to be a competitive runner. But injuries and other setbacks pushed her away from running. She founded the Stanford Triathlon Team in September 2015 and is hooked. Being nine months out, she was able to compete at Collegiate Nationals. She plans to participate this summer in a half Ironman, a long-distance triathlon race, and she is hoping to do a full Ironman in the next year.
During a triathlon, she thinks about being in the present and “staying in the zone.”
